Beware of the con that's is being charged for picture messages because you send an emoji. I've been a customer of O2 for way over 12 years and only recently have I discovered that this fact! The last few months I've been charged an extortionate amount on my bills due to apparently sending emojis!?! Can't discuss this with anyone as call centre don't answer! Can't call, can't email just have to suck it up and pay! Well this has made my mind up that I will be leaving O2 at the end of my current contract. Over charged for a basic thing that you get free elsewhere. £44 in charges for emojis as they're classed as pictures! Really O2 in very disappointed/disgusted in this

@eddy This isn't anything new. If you only recently discovered it, it means you've never noticed. The charges have been in place for years. To avoid these charges in the future use WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger over WiFi. Those methods are free.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
