Yesterday I received a call from a man from 02. He said my contract had ended (or was coming to an end).
The call was curtailed. I dont think I have a contract; Im partially hearing, calls of this nature are tricky .
Being busy with someone the man said he would ring back.
Ive checked my account and it looks as if my tariff ended in Feb 2018 !!, but i pay just over 5.00 for data, minutes and calls. Use 0-10 minutes a month, texts 220 , data , 200 sometimes - all monthly. And have done , probably since Feb 2018. The phone was my own.
So was this a real or fake call? I found nothing on my account about change. What are the options if i need to change. All i can find is £8.00 for more amounts that I would use.
Thank you.

Hi @Jenny105
NEVER accept any offers of upgrades, phones or contracts from a cold call.
You won't be getting a good deal at all.

The call looked as if it came from 02...... but the style and use of the word ''contract'' encouraged me curtail it.
Normally I don't answer calls as no one calls me becase they know calls are hard. I only answered because a member of the family was in a job interview that day.

It’ll be one of those trusted partners that will put you on a business contract that you won’t be able to get out of

if you are happy with the deal you are on and the amount you pay then there is n need to change. You are now on a rolling 30 day contract.

@Jenny105 Never accept any deal from a cold caller, be it O2 or any other company. It's very easy to block a number.
There are also dedicated apps, but this is the simplest and easiest way.

Thank you for the advice. I looked for the block call option after the call came in but couldnt find it. I'll check out the manual.
It was the one hour when I thought i might get a call . Normally its no calls at all, at all. There use of the word 'contract' alerted me. I have to buy my phones I never get them on contract..
I would check with you guys and gals or 02 before making any changes.
