Phones 4U have ceased offering O2 contracts, upgrades or PAYG phones. Phones 4U state this is due to a "recent startegic re-evaluation of its network relations"
Maybe they, like many of us, don't like the way O2 is currently doing business

What do you expect the staff to have done?

I don't know what you would expect the staff to do? Do you think they should rebel and down tools because they object to O2's policy? How long do you think they'd have a job for if they did that? If upper management set the policies, the staff are obliged to see those policies through and uphold them.
I must say Damien, your posts have been extremely negative of late. All I've been seeing is a lot of O2 bashing at every turn. No one is saying that these price increases are a good thing. If you're that unhappy with O2, then maybe you should exercise your right as a customer and leave.

Complained gone on strike it's not that hard
So that you can then (almost rightfully) complain about the lack of customer service because they're all striking over essentially nothing? Curious.

Oh and for the record T Mobile have today confirmed they are leaving the option in their contracts for mid term price increases. Orange likely therefore to follow
suit.
They will all do the same, eventually. Three will sieze the chance to get more customers by saying they won't do it (but will increase the prices of new contracts anyway, just not mid term), then everyone will complain about the service and leave because their rather fragile network will be overloaded, which just leaves Voda & EE who will still have mid term price increases, just as they always have, the same as O2.
