How long does it take to send

a PAC number? Yesterday at 13.00 I was told it would be sent by text shortly.

Good news @Anonymous, but be aware that the port will not begin until Monday even if you enter it today.

Yes, I get that, @pgn, but I'm sure there are some O2 employees who would be willing to work flexible days so there would be 7 day a week coverage. Many companies do that.

Porting isn't done by the networks, so it's not a case of asking O2 employees to work overtime I'm afraid.

Well then whichever service does the porting, they could be asked to work flexible days. I'm not suggesting overtime. I was suggesting weekend working, and different days in the week off instead. As I said, there are many companies who keep their services going seven days a week. We live in a 24/7  world. Why not the world of mobile phones which are used 24/7?

I thought week-end days at a minimum, if not the full 48 hours across Sat and Sun, @Bambino.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying @pgn.

I'm saying that many businesses that are open 7 days a week  give their employees different days of the week off, and they're not paid any differently on weekends. They still work a five day week, but their days off are, say, Thursday and Friday rather than Saturday and Sunday. Some people aren't that precious about having 'the weekend' off.
