Hi all,
My family member asked to transfer a number from his account to my account earlier. No device plan and outside of contract.
When I log into my account now, I can see the transferred number but my old number has disappeared from my account, like it’s been overwritten. I still need the original number, as well as the number that’s been transferred to me.
This was done on the online chat function. Tried on there again and they’ve said there is no record my old number.
Any ideas!? So so frustrated. Got in black and white from the agent that both numbers would still be active.

Sorry to say but think you have messed up, as the agent has actually done what you have asked transfer the number to your account.
You can cant just move numbers between o2 accounts, and all your family member needed to do is give you delegate access and then you could have added it to myo2.
The only other way would have been to either sign up to a new contract or PAYG on your account and migrated the number over to that..
