O2 only offer Refresh contracts now?

Do O2 offer any other contracts other than Refresh now?

When talking to the chat help about upgrading, I'm getting really muddled answers, and from what I can gather it seems like they no longer offer "normal" contracts to upgrade to..?

Seems strange as other 3rd party phone sites offer new phones on O2 contracts that are the same as the old ones, not only this Refresh.

Asking as I want to upgrade, but comparing the Refresh contracts to the "normal" ones on the 3rd party sites, the Refresh is a far worse deal for me personally.

No idea, you would have to ask them, but I would phone in on 202 rather than use the chat service.

Maybe there's a big push on Refresh right now as it seems very popular.

Hmm, so why are the sales team telling me I'm only allowed a Refresh contract, and not a normal one?

Hmm, yeah I'm actually in the chat right now talking to someone from the sales team, and she's basically telling me that as I'm an existing customer wanting to upgrade, I'm not allowed any of those "normal" contract deals that are available to new customers. And that I can only upgrade to a Refresh contract.

Politley end the live chat and ring 202 or go into an 02 or CPW shop.

Yeah think that's what I'll do. I'll give them a ring tomorrow.

Just seems strange that one representative tells me I can upgrade to the normal contracts, then connects me to someone else that tells me no that's wrong I'm only allowed to upgrade to a Refresh contract.

Hopefully will get a bit more sense over the phone.
