Upgrading treated the same if I pay termination fee?

Well I suppose firstly just to check, if I'm upgrading as an existing pay monthly member, do I get slightly better offers than the standard ones on the site available to new customers?

If so, if I pay the termination fee to upgrade early, am I treated the same as if I just waited until my upgrade date? Basically, will I get the same, better offers, or will I just be given the standard offers as if I was a new customer?

Unfortunately you will be treated no differently than a new customer. Loyalty went out the window a long while ago and O2's new policy is fair deal to all customers, new or old.

If you can get a better deal elsewhere then always go for the best option open to you.

Ah ok. So this 1 month early upgrade, that literally only saves you the last months bill?

So unless I can find a better deal here on the site (which I can't) then I might as well just wait it out and get the beat deal I can find elsewhere (which overall will save me a lot more than just the final months bill)?

That's right, you can probably get a better deal through an independent such as CPW on O2's network.
