@Anonymous O2 update their systems overnight, so you haven't picked an ideal time to be paying your overdue bill. There wouldn't be anyone available at this time of night to speak to either, even if your phone was working. You could avoid problems like this by setting up a Direct Debit, which is normally the recommended way to pay.

I'd the phone has been cut off they may well want to speak to you hence My O2 not allowing you to make a payment. It only goes down for maintenance around an hour tops at midnight.

Then again the app on my iPhone has been playing around again. The live coverage checker was saying there is a faulty mast in my area yet I had full signal & was sending & receiving messages
