Can't add PAYG to my account

I'm a bit confused.

I got a new PAYG number, and I'm trying to add it to my account but every time I get an error:

Sorry – you can't add any new Pay As You Go numbers

This might be due to a technical issue. Please try again.

This has been going on for days now. At first I thought it was a temporary glitch since the website went down a few days but still no joy. I tried creating a fresh new account, but still the same issue. SIM is active, with a Big Bundle, so deffo working.

I'd like to manage the number via the app, and potentially port my main number from Three to o2, but this is really making me question that decision.

Is there any known issue?

@ferro

Short answer is that you. can't.

You need to register it with a different email for a seperate MyO2 account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

As per the original post, that didn't work either. I've tried it, with 2 separate accounts, fresh ones. Same error
