O2 Refresh

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am on an O2 Refresh contract where I pay £10 a month for the phone and £12.32 for the aittime tariff.   I am looking at the option to upgrade early (which is what I thought the Refresh option was all about) to find that I would have to take up a brand new tariff.  I thought that I would have had to pay off the remaining balance and then enter a new 0% contract for the new phone.  Am i correct in my thoughts on how refresh should work.

Yes, upon paying off the handset to upgrade, part of the upgrade is a new connection to a new 24 month tariff.

You pay off the handset plan and then either go into your http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 or phone 202 or go into an O2 store to upgrade again and choose a new Refresh Tariff.

All explained here : http://www.o2.co.uk/refresh

The other beauty of Refresh is that you can pay off the handset and walk away from the contract without further penalty.

Yes, it will be a new tariff.

You can't keep the current tariff and just have a new phone.
