Hello, I ordered a phone last night at 10pm upgrade and I was told on the o2 order page that next day delivery is available if ordered up to midnight. So I thought great it will be delivered today. I got all the emails as you would expect and it told me that delivery date is today 31st of May. It even said that orders placed between 11pm and 11:59pm will be delivered next day between 6pm and 10pm and I was a hour before that. Got a email just after midnight to say it was dispatched. Went to sleep happy ready for delivery today as I am available today to accept delivery. Wake up this morning to a message from -O2- saying DPD will deliver my package on the 3rd of June!! A date I am not available! The DPD tracking says We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly. What do you think the chances are that it will come today still? I've spoken to o2 who say all that text means is that it will come on the 3rd if they have a problem today. Which sounds like a total lie. They told me to contact DPD instead not them. I'm hoping maybe DPD just haven't scanned the item past a certain time and it triggered the SMS message about the 3rd but I think I'm just living in hope. Any thoughts on this?

It's down to O2 to chase DPD for a delivery date, not you, so get back onto customer service and ask them to speak to DPD and get you a confirmed delivery date.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

What phone is it?
If it's a popular model they sometimes can be drop shipped direct from supplier and the shipping can end up being whatever the supplier chooses.
Tracking on dpd will show pickup location

Hi @Matt91, it's been a while since you posted so I just wanted to check how you got on with your delivery in the end? Did you get your new phone, and how are you liking it?  slight_smile

Could also be if the phone is on back order, try speaking to customer service as we on the community cannot give help with account related information unless the moderator can pass the detail on.
Kindest Regards,
Andrew.

Surely customer services would know?
