Hi,

I paid off my device and got the S20 on March 10th in the my local curry's/carphone warehouse shop. The deal was 60gb and unlimited texts and calls for £39 a month, I was already paying £35 for the S9 so thought this was a fab deal so signed up for the £39 a month.

Today I got my bill, £57!:open_mouth:

why is it so high? I need to speak to someone but I don't know how to contact them. I can't afford £57! I'm disabled so on a limited income.

I hope someone can help:disappointed:

thanks

Keibs

As you got the phone from cpw the first new bill will include an adjustment for anything owing on the previous month of your old contract

Your My o2 will tell you what the bill covers, but most likely this is the first bill so covers a month and a bit.
If you HAVE to contact o2, be aware that they are reducing with lower numbers of staff and an increase in calls so you will be waiting.

Most likely a cashback deal.

O2 will always bill you the full price of the contract ad you'll need to claim cashback from CPW.

Check the T&C's of your contract from CPW.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I did wonder if it would be just the first bill. I shall pay it and wait til the next bill I suppose, but it was quite a shock when all the other airtime bills are £19. Also I guess it's both parts of the bill? Airtime and device? We shall see. Thank you for your reply.

I've just looked through it. I did do a trade in deal and got £250 off of the s20, but I can't see where it says I have to ask for cash back?

I've just looked on CPW website and the phone is currently at £57 per month.

Did you get the cashback as a credit or cash as that could be the overall contract difference between what you were quoted and what you're paying?
