NO indoor coverage

Anonymous

Hi,

I have moved to a new location few weeks back near to canada water station in London and is a prime location. Eventhough, its close to station and has ok reception outside (3 of 5 bars outside), there is absolute ZERO network indoors and am not able to make or receive calls at home.

I already called O2 customer care a number of times but to no resolve. I even manage to find customer care person online and she assured me that it will be resolved in 24 hours without explaining the cause if issue or intended resolution... but nothing happened event after 3 days.

I have Nokia C7 (3G) mobile and tried number of suggestions from online community:

1) Changed my mobile setting to 2G mode

2) Tried Sim on another mobile

3) Took out the battery for 5 mins and tried again

NONE of the above worked with o2, and the interesting bit is I can get excellent coverage with T-Mobile.

I am sure its a network issue.

If O2 cant resolve this issue, I like to cancel the contract without any premature penalty as its O2 who is at fault.

Please let me know if you can give me any advise.

Regards,

Ajit

Interesting T&Cs

aldo reading the privacy policy by using the app it allows them to record and use data in whatever way they feel like.

i can't see any privacy I won't be using the app until its changed.

I think I can understand that as they can't be responsible for performance over other networks kit.

Data would I imagine be needed for charging and statistics purposes.

Arrgh I didn't consider it was detracting the liability for other networks good point:)

The data protection bit is rather excessive in what they can use it for in my opinion:(

TU|go appears to be launching on O2 in February so by my reckoning that's anytime within the next 2 weeks. Fingers crossed!!

I don't think we'll see this by the end of this month, be a nice surprise if we do.
