Leaving O2

Anonymous
Not applicable

My OH and I have both had mobiles on O2  PAYG for over 10 years. I have now got a new SIM free phone that I want to use on another network. I'd like to have my existing number on my new phone and my OH is going to have my old phone, staying with O2. What do I have to do to make this changeover, please?

Your oh just needs to put their sim in your old phone.
If it's the wrong size, any o2 shop will do a free sim swap.
You need to call CS on 202 and ask for your PAC which you then give to your new network.
They will then switch your number for you.
You have 30 days to use your PAC from receipt.

Another question, sorry. Is there a charge to take your number?

There is no charge for the number porting process itself although you may be charged for all or part of your 30 day notice period depending on when you use the PAC.
