Has anyone had any issues with redeeming free screen replacement?

I was contacted about an upgrade a year ago and chose to stay with o2 rather than leave as I got a free screen replacement and the 1 year upgrade.

But after trying to redeem I'm told there's nothing on my account about being entitled to the replacement.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so what did you do??

Indeed @Anonymous I suspect the same.

It may not have been O2 that called you @ConorC ?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If you have it, it will show as a bolt on in your MyO2.
Mine was from the start of the contract and recently claimed on it without any issue.
If you've not got anything in writing or the bolt on, I suspect you will struggle with this one.

@ConorC

Did you check your My O2 to see if you had it as a bolt on?

Is the phone older than one year? I thought the offer was for that period only...

Edit I have just checked. It is for 2 years...

Yeah, nothing there. But my contract is 30gb s8 which I took out this year which going by T&Cs, the person who upgraded me was correct, I should be entitled to one

Did you upgrade with O2 direct or via a 3rd party?

I don't know what's gone on but either way, doesn't look like I'm going to be getting the screen replacement. Been with o2 for 8 years and only stayed with them this time as this was part of the contract. Could have got same contract cheaper elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies it's much appreciated.

Now you said that. I think the trusted partners might be at work here
