Hi

I am looking into getting an upgrade on my phone but was wondering how the insurance works. I have insurance for damage on my present phone, would this be automatically transfered to my upgrade or would I have to take new insurance in which case is my old insurance automatically cancelled?

Thanks for your help

You would need to let them know about your new phone obtained thorough O2 and ask them to transfer the details of this new phone onto your account details so it's covered via O2 insurance.

You will need to inform the insurance of the change of phone and give them details of IMEI number.
It may change the price of the policy depending on type of phone you are moving to.

You need to ring customer services, that will transfer you to insurance and they will amended if necessary. You have 28 days from when you get the phone to do it. Hope this helps
