Upgrading to Ultimate Plan then downgrading after 14 days?

Hi I am travelling to Dubai on Wednesday. It's going to cost me £6 a day for Travel Bolt. However, I am there for 14 days, so 14 x £6 = £84 !

It says if I had an "Ultimate Plan" then Dubai (UAE) is included free of charge.

Ultimate Plan is £34.49 / 24 month contract

My question is, although not morally correct, if I upgraded my plan to "Ultimate Plan" then exercised my right to cancel within 14 days...would my account revert back to my previous plan (which was a great offer I signed up for last year, £10 for 120gb/unlim mins) or will I no longer be an o2 customer as I've cancelled my plan.

You won't get your old plan back unless it's still available to choose on the website.

They will just put you on something similar.

Gone up to £7 per day now

Not sure if that makes the gamble more worthwhile

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
