IF YOU ARE BUYING A MOBILE PHONE READ CAREFULLY

Anonymous
Not applicable

I recently purchased 2 mobile phones on payg . both are faulty and after 7 calls to o2 i have been lied to as i tried to return the phones, but o2 won't forward me the returns address. they made me top up both phones , i spent 5 hours on the phone speaking to staff who realy didnt want to help.

o2 took the returns sticker off before sending me the phones. i have spent £120 on both phones.

dont buy online from these people until you find out the returns policy and address to send the returns.

just buy from a shop and check everything before you leave.

o2 online are incompetent

Live chat can sometimes get things muddled.

I had to send a phone back to O2 and it was easy to get a return bag sent to me.

What is the fault with the phones? Maybe we can help you if you give us a bit of information about the problem with them.

Also, have you tried returning the phones to an O2 store?

You can't return the phone(s) bought online to the store, it has to be sent back as stated in T&C's

I thought it could be returned to a store to check/clarify that the phone was faulty?

Apologises I have just re-read the information for faulty products purchased online - it states:
If you bought it online or over the phone from us, you’ll need to give us a call to find out how to send it back. You’ll find the right number to call on your bill or here; o2.co.uk/contactus.
