I use to suffer from the same problem as you are with your data and I did some research and I found that turning your data off using the settings on your phone when you are not using mobile internet or when you are at home, using your broadband to view the internet on your mobile. I only have 500mb per month and I tend to find that I have some left over at the end of the month.

When do you get your extra 500mb of data on the twenty pay and go go go anyone

When I top up £15 on my anniversary date to get my refreshed allowances I then get a text message a few hours later from O2 stating my extra 500mb has been added. It does not show on your myo2 as it's virtual data. Once you've exhausted the 500mb another text is sent to confirm and your normal data allowance then kicks back in.

I am on PAYG and I only get 1GB data allowance per month and I struggle to last 2 weeks before I run out. 😞
