Wow, I don't think I'll be in any rush to go for this, I nearly choked on a rather good whisky:
4G tariffs
No one expected the next mobile internet step to be cheap. The entry level contract for 4G mobile broadband smartphones will set you back £36 per month and give a measly 500MB data allowance – so at 12Mb per second you’ll have shot your bolt in about 40 minutes.
The top tier tariff will be a whopping £56 per month and give a more respectable 8GB monthly limit.
If you need extra data in a month, it will be available in 50MB (£3), 500MB (£6), 2GB (£15) and 4GB (£20) data add ons.
You can read the article here:

Ive only just gained 3G in the last 6 months where i live. Well I sometimes get 2G and some times if i switch on and of flight mode to force for 3G and I live in a town.
But my speeds on 3G if and when, is about 3.2 - 6.6 mbs per second download and 1.3 and 3.3Mbs upload.
ping is about 80-180ms tho which is quite high as its much loweer else where.

Slightly bit of topic with ee. but these are the speeds with o2 3g, o2 2g and o2 wifi all at my house.
O2-3G will come on, if you force the phone to go onto 3g, it doesnt as a rule find 3g with out being told to.
O2-2G is trust old fav, come rain or shine, its always there (Doesnt like snow though lol)
O2-Wifi, again tusty fav and happy with the service (Touch wood doesnt let me down now lol)
