Wow, I don't think I'll be in any rush to go for this, I nearly choked on a rather good whisky:

4G tariffs

No one expected the next mobile internet step to be cheap. The entry level contract for 4G mobile broadband smartphones will set you back £36 per month and give a measly 500MB data allowance – so at 12Mb per second you’ll have shot your bolt in about 40 minutes.

The top tier tariff will be a whopping £56 per month and give a more respectable 8GB monthly limit.

If you need extra data in a month, it will be available in 50MB (£3), 500MB (£6), 2GB (£15) and 4GB (£20) data add ons.

Wow nice find:)

I think I'm happy waiting for O2s more competitive service:)

This is what having a monopoly does charges the earth but if you want it desperatly you'll have to sell a couple of organs.

I'm sure O2 can beat this and they really need to now, this is a golden opportunity for O2 to blow them out of the water.

@Liquid I've sent you the link on Twitter.

If O2 can bring in a premium "unlimited" 4g they'll sign EEs death certificate.

However if I were O2 I'd be pushing for 3G everywhere whilst pushing the 4g network through:) a few strategically placed O2 repeaters in customers houses could give them nigh on 99% uk coverage:) customers would be happy for their greater connection in house and would spread the mast coverage far and wide:)

I agree and their new network may be even faster on DC-HSDPA, up to 42Mbps.
