esims are fraught with trouble on O2

On O2 eSIMs are delivered via MyO2 and the Install My SIM Menu. Unlike other networks they appear to have move away from QR codes but of course they don't tell you that.
They also don't tell you that if you want to swap phones for any reason you will need to get a replacement via CS or a Store.
As advised, stock with plastic

Which customers probably can't access, as it requires sending a code via text message, unless they've had the foresight to add another contact number.
Which definitely should be done once up and running to avoid future issues.
