Direct debit taken late - effect deposit?

Hi, first post here and just a quick question.

I recently took out a new contract with O2, had to pay a deposit and that was that. From what I understand, I'll get the deposit back if I pay my bill on time for the first 3 months.

Today I had my first bill leave me account via direct debit. Only problem is that on my O2 it says the payment was due on 17th October, but the payment only left my account today (19th)

Will this effect me getting my deposit back? I've done everything properly, direct debit is setup correctly and money is always available on my account ready to be taken, so for whatever reason they payment was taken 2 days late, it isn't my fault.

So will this effect my deposit?

October 17th was a Saturday. Your DD would not have been able to be taken on a weekend. Today is the earliest available day, so this should not affect you getting your deposit back.
