O2 deposit refund question

Hi. 

 

I paid a £175 deposit on a pay monthly plan 3 months ago. I was told it would be refunded in 4th month which is fine 

 

I contacted O2 support via the chat on the app on the 4th month as I had a credit balance on my account of £175, they said they had successfully processed the £175 refund to my bank account that my direct debits come out of. They said this was processed on 6/11/23. The money still has not arrived in my bank although they did state the whole process can take up to 7 working days..

 

Has anyone had experience of a deposit refund and how long it takes to go back into a bank account?

Usually quite quickly.

Ask again if it doesn't show after the weekend.

You need to contact O2.
