I recently cancelled my O2 contract but payment has been taken again. I’ve cancelled the direct debit today after this payment. Should I do anything further as I can’t get to a store and have been unable to chat with anyone from O2.
Regards.

How to cancel here Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

You need to confirm cancellation with o2 as they will continue to bill you if not done correctly and you will get a default on your credit file.

I thought I had done so. I was told 30days notice and there would be a final payment but yet another has been taken.
The mobile number isn’t used anymore as was my daughters and she destroyed the sim so I can’t send messages as per the guide. Who can I possibly speak to about this as I can’t seem to get anywhere with the online help.

@Waine

You don't need to give 30 days notie anymore as OFCOM changed the rules.

You should be refunded from the day you asked to cancel (assuming the minimum term was met).

@Anonymous

Can you help this customer cancel and get refunded what they are owed please?

Good to hear however the OP said the final bill had been paid but had another one due?
