Data was part of allowance while in Turkey on Virgin. I've been migrated to O2 and now have to pay!

I regularly go on holiday to Turkey. In the past whilst myself and my family were on Virgin, we could use our data as part of our monthly contracted allowance. Now we've all been migrated to O2, it seems we have to pay £6 per day (4 phones so £24 a day!) to use our data. I don't think that is fair given we didn't have any choice in migrating

Different Networks have different roaming agreements.

When Virgin moved you there was the opportunity to leave, so nobody was forced.

If you are on Volt then you have countries available to you that Virgin didn't cover. Case of swings and roundabouts

If Turkey is important to you it would be worth seeing what Networks do inclusive roaming there

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
