Just noticed this data charge for my colleague, she has been in USA for 4 weeks, flew back to Heathrow on the 4th Jan, she wants to know why she has been charged for Country Norway???? (see below) Also she removed her o2 sim card until 4th Jan, used a Three Sim whilst in the USA!

So your friend never used the O2 sim at all during the time she was away? Just the Three sim....

@Anonymous If she put the O2 sim in while she was still in the US she would be on a US network and would be charged for that. It's not a data charge.

Well she certainly needs to ring CS as suggested.....though as @Bambino says... this is probably due to being connected to a US network...

Wild guess at connecting to the plane's data system ? As said, call 202 to query it.

The OP has said his colleague had the phone on in the airport with the O2 sim in the phone. If she made or received any calls during that time, or posssibly listened to her voicemail, that's what the charge is for. If you are in the US using a US network, and using an O2 sim you are charged for incoming calls. The only network that doesn't charge for incoming or outgoing calls to the UK while in the US is Three.

It does look to be the case. The Op stated his friend used the Three sim whilst in the States...but swapped it for her O2 sim in the airport...
