When i signed up for this contract it said that i would be paying £16.50 a month, when in actual fact iam paying £26 a month. Why is this?

the discount was applied from second bill and was double discount to cover for the first month.
You had to follow all the steps including moving the payg number over.
We saw a few that it did not happen for and a call to 202 resolved the issue

If you're looking at the price in MyO2 it may well not show the discount.
Have you seen the bill to be paid yet?

Did you swap from payg to pay monthly using the special promotion? http://www.o2.co.uk/movetopaymonthly
If so ring o2 as above and ask why the discount was not applied.

Didn't they apply the discount after the customer has got their third bill?
