My 24 month contract expires on 1 June. I don't need an upgrade (new phone or tariff). Can I let my contract roll on on a monthly basis?

Yes you can just leave it.

If on refresh you will just continue to pay the airtime only Guide: How does O2 Refresh work?

However, if on a standard contract, I'd advise you switch to a sim only to save money.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

You can yes but it would be cheaper for you to get a sim only deal. And if you ever decide you would like a new phone. You can upgrade.
