Hi!

New here! So I upgraded on Saturday but the upgrade was a pre-oreder. Can I cancel the upgrade altogether?

Thanks!

Thanks all for you replies! After writing an email to CPW they got in touch with me and they have agreed to cancel the pre-order. The reason given was similar to what CAB told me. To O2 my "upgrade" had not been activated so there was leeway to cancel it. Also, because I didn't have a phone ( because it was pre-ordered) and I actually have not seen the phone it is understandable that I might want to cancel. I obviously also argued that the manager's idea of me arguing in store with the sales advisor (and that it was my word against his) was terrible customer service. So they left me off the hook. I have now terminated my contract with O2. I can't fault O2's customer service it was great! SO great that I "almost" felt bad to cancel my contract. However I'll never ever use CPW again. Or if I do it will only be online.

I would suggest calling CPW. Check in My O2 to see if there is any order showing.

No orders are showing up! So I guess I should be ok?? I'll call them tomorrow it was way too late for their CS working hours  when I decided to cancel.

I read that but wasn't able to conclude anything 😞 as "pre-order" is not part of that lingo

I would read it as an order regardless of it being a pre order or otherwise.

So the conclusion is that I can? As the order hasn't been fulfilled? Sorry about being slow 😞

Of course you can.
It's the law - you have a 14 day cooling off period for any contract of any description. Longer if purchased online.
