Hi!

New here! So I upgraded on Saturday but the upgrade was a pre-oreder. Can I cancel the upgrade altogether?

Thanks!

Sounds like the salesman sees his commission going. You need to insist and speak to the manager.

What an outrage. Whatever the saleman thinks...he needs to be re-trained in the SOGA and terms and conditions for a sale of a mobile phone. I would be complaining about him for wasting my time...

No they said no, they showed me their website. There is no cooling off period for O2 upgrades done at Carphone Warehouse

I really don't think that is legal, but what you could do is wait until you receive it and then cancel within 14 days directly with O2, I guess?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I spoke to the manager, they showed me their website where it does indeed say there's no cooling off period with O2 upgrades. I was not warned about this. They want me to argue directly with the salesman in front of a different manager.

If you look at my post above (16) @Anonymous I linked to t&c's. I would just go for change of mind and return within the 14 days ....

Thanks Cleoriff! I did quote that and they said it didn't apply for O2 upgrades.
