My UK data, minutes and texts are all included in Spain.
My partner and his 3 mobile UK phone are in Indonesia, where his data, minutes and texts also work.
Can we call eachother within our allowance? Or will we get charged?

I always understood that the call would be charged as an international call.

So did I @jonsie and have been charged when I was in Spain and phoned Thailand.

I also thought the screenshot I showed made it pretty clear.

We know for a fact we would be charged if we called Indonesia from the UK.

But, you would not be charged for calling a UK mobile in Indonesia.

As I said, I was charged for calling a UK mobile in Thailand when i was in Spain. I was also charged for calling the same mobile when I was back in the UK.

You should never be charged for calling a UK number that is roaming, as how do you know its not in the UK, even if you are in Spain you would know, and EU Rules are that calling a Spanish or UK number or even a French number are free whilst roaming

However we aren't talking about Spain or France...both in the EU. We are discussing Indonesia (or in my case Thailand)...neither of which are in the EU. They are in the International sector.

I think it's better that we leave this question to be answered by @EmilieT  or @Marjo  as I'm not batting this back and forth to score points.

Will be interesting to see how O2 bill this as I can see reason for both sides of the discussion here.
I can also guess at what the answer will be.
