The planning application below was originally refused but O2 won the appeal on 15/03/12, that is not really relevant, I have been non stop talking to the guys form O2 and frankly they are terrible, no one knows when this will be fixed and worst of all we are expected to hand over our money when we are getting no service, plan to write a formal complaint and if they dont resolve I will take it Ombudsman Services! what a joke! coming to a month with pratically no service!

A site near the hospital has been located and we're starting to put things in place. There will be some build and testing involved but all going well O2 are hoping to get things in place for Wed 24 April. Looks like things might be getting there.

Hi guys,
Just to provide an update to this thread - We have identified a temporary site located very close to the hospital and we’ve started the process to put it in place. We then need to take it through a detailed testing programme to ensure the mast performs at optimum levels before we switch it on. Subject to everything going to plan, O2 coverage in the area of the Royal Sussex County Hospital will be back at some point during Wednesday, 24th April.
Hope you all are delighted to hear this update.
Thanks, Abs
