My husband and I have been having signal issues in our area (BH31) for months now. We are not able to use our phone in the town we live in unless we are at home and connected to wifi. There has been no explanation as to why and how long the issues will be going on for. It has already been a couple of months. Am I able to get money back from my airtime tariff for not being able to use the phone?

You may get a bit of compensation, but that is at the discretion of the agent. @NVerwood
As per the t&c's you read and agreed to o2 do not guarantee 100% coverage or service uptime and looking at cellmapper.net the 3 o2 masts dont cover your that post code area.. so could be a landowner has asked for a mast to be removed or it is been replaced..
Have a look on your local planning portal and see if anything has been applied for...
