I've just received my second bill from O2 and I think I've been overcharged but I was hoping someone could confirm before I call customer service in case I'm going mad! The bill is as follows:
Tariff = £20.00
Minutes = £0.50
Messages = £0.67
Total before VAT = £21.17
VAT = £4.24
Balance brought forward = -£1.04
Total = £24.37
I was under the impression that VAT was already included in the tariff charge and therefore I should only be paying VAT on the minutes and messages, i.e. £0.23, meaning a total bill of £21.40.
I did change my tarrif but there is nothing on the bill to indicate that the charges are due to that.
Thanks in advance.

I bet it's a lot Jonsie. It was only £4 so I expect a lot of people wouldn't have picked it up and I might not have done if I'd gone over my allowances by a lot as it would probably be swallowed up.
The big problem is that many people never even look at their bills unless it's a noticeable difference so you are very probably right @Anonymous

You can get to recent charges, which will show the credit, but until they sort the website out it's many clicks until you actually get to it. Let me know if you want me to post the steps to it.
