Anyone else been hit with an early termination bill when they have tried to change tarrifs?

I tried to exercise my right to termination , but was talked into staying with a lower monthly tarrif.

And then suddenly they are looking for 300 bux because I cancelled my account?

Which I hadn't.

Apparently the moron on the other end didn't proccess the transaction correctly?

And I was promised the monthly hand set payment would  be the same. Its not.

Yep. You are not the first that has been moved on to what is probably a new 24 month tariff and the old one shut down.

Agents trying to make a commission

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

It's O2's business plan for sure

When they gave customers the option to leave they will have factored in their retention team selling more contracts and lowering the projected customer churn.

If the offers seem too good to be true look out for hidden factors and question salesmen about existing device plans

And the fact that you will be talked into a new 24 month contract
