I have had £4.50 charged to my account for something called “Noatel Europe" I have no idea what this is and have made no such purchase. Can anyone help with what this is?

Also contact customer services and ask them to put these bars to your account

  • Bar all Direct to Bill Debits
  • Premium Bar (calls to premium numbers, 090, 070 etc.

this is a payforit scam. you were probably automatically subscribed by a rogue website.

 

to help prevent this happening you should use wifi to browse the web when possible as this will prevent websites from reading your mobile number.

Noatel are one of the companies exploiting vulnerabilities in the 'Payforit' system to scam consumers. You need to stop the charges and obtain a FULL refund. For comprehensive (and independent) advice on dealing with 'Payforit' scams, see the link in my signature.
