Hi, I have found an old nokia 6230i which i had when i was on o2 network years ago. I want to use the phone again but with a different network, but the phone is locked on the o2 network. I have also moved the number that was associated with the account to another network, how can i get the 6230i handset unlocked?

thanks

I cannot get very far into the form, I dont have an o2 account now, nor do i have a number associated with o2. Both of which i need to fill in the spaces with a * so I cannot give the information asked for. It wont allow me to continue through the form.

@mick1364

You need to get a free payg sim https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go

Top it up Guide How to Top Up (PAYG) and register for a new MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 account.

After using the phone for a couple of days, you can request the unlock through your new MyO2 account.
