check operator services

I have a pay as you go SIM in Italy. Worked once and now just says Check Customer Services every time I try to send a message or make a call. Have plenty of credit and customer services are impossible to contact! Any advice??

Try choosing a different network operator manually @J-R

Some things to try.
1 - Manually search for a different network.
2 - Reboot your phone
3 - Call customer service to check for any roaming bars.

Also clean the sim card.

Can you use your old sim card @Jules4 ?

If not you need to do a sim swap if you need 5G
