I changed my monthly account to pay as you go, and I find that I cannot send texts or make calls from France. What's the problem ?

Question asked on chat: what's the telephone number for contacting O2
reply from O2: You can keep your mobile number when moving to O2 by requesting a free PAC code from your current network service provider. This code will be valid for 30 days. Just contact O2 when you have it and you will switch automatically.

@Jeffries This is not O2. This is a customer community. You need to speak to customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0800 032 1402 from any phone or numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

This is NOT Customer Services, this is a customer to customer forum, and we dont have any access to your account, and we answer when we want and can....
Make sure you have credit on your phone as well.
You will need to contact O2 If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
All the contact numbers are on https://o2.co.uk/contactus

Thank you to "Whizzkid" 'Bambino' and "scholar"'Madasaf1fh' . My commiserations to you trying to hold back the flood. I've noted the advice. We'll see. There are lots of diversionary strategies used by big companies and O2 are not alone in using 'Forums' etc instead of paying for a sufficient Customer Service people. That doesn't excuse O2 of course. The comments all over SM are damning enough.
