Solved: Prepayment Mastercard Card

Hi,

Why is 02 not accepting a prepayment mastercard card to process a top up?

Surely works the same way as a credit or debit card?

I have £50 on my prepayment card and only wanting to top up £10!

You accept mastercards so surely shouldn't matter if it's a credit card or prepayment card still money!

It will be down to the first 6 digits of the PAN, which may not be a UK based PAN, and as such is not accepted by o2.

I would speak to your card issuer, or as @MI5 has advised look at the alternative ways.
