Pac code on new PAYG sim - no credit

I have ported my phone number to an o2 PAYG SIM only to realise the signal in my area is extremely poor 0 to 1 bar.

The only option I can see is to move again to another provider. But o2 say I can only receive a PAC via text message. I do not want to waste £10 simply to send a message to move elsewhere.

Does anyone know why they cannot simply provide the PAC over the phone?

NB: I am able to receive texts and calls.

@O2Lisa has struck again and saved the day ❤️.  Now transferring back to my original provider.
I can't thank you enough for the hassle this saves me.

I've also recently ported to a payandgo sim but discovered the signal isnt great. I've had a look at my02 but its still displaying the original o2 number (rather than the working ported in number). Looking to get my PAC code if possible ?

I have 2 numbers recently ported to o2 that I would to take back. Customer Services have been shocking are refusing to issue me a new PAC. I quoted the OFCOM rules and all I got back was attitude. Disgusting service. Can anyone help?

TIA!
