Hi all slight_smile

Can an O2 number be transferred from an old PAYG phone to a new O2 PAYG phone?

Mr has an OLD phone with full size sim, and I'd like to buy him a new phone, but they all seem to be nano sims. So.... Q as above grin

Cheers!

Yes it can. The easiest way is to cal into an o2 store and they will swap it over for you.

@shortie Yes if the number is still active. All you need is a sim swap which your local O2 shop can do for you

Thanks guys slight_smile

Yes, its his current phone . I'm thinking of getting him 'my first smartphone' for christmas lol.  So might just tell him early, so he can decide if he wants to port the number, or have a new one... then I can be with him in the shop and make sure everything goes right grin
