Keep existing number on new PAYG phone

Hi my old phone has stopped working and I have ordered a replacement. My old sim was a micro sim and new phone has nano sim - how do I keep my old number. Cannot get old phone to turn on to do Sim swap 😞 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pop into your local o2 shop and they will swap sim for free for you.
