You need to use a third party top up service as described in the guide here Guide How to Top Up (PAYG) 

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Many thanks.  I added 20.00 using the App that you suggested.  I managed the top up and then GBP10.00 was immediately deducted from the 20.00 top up, any idea why.  It is impossible to get any service from 02, I am a new customer and the service is just awful.

Credit is used to buy allowances automatically.

Thank you.  You'll forgive my ignorance, but I have just returned to the UK after many years overseas and I am trying to figure out how things work....So, for clarity,  O2 have debited the account for a 10.00 big bundle, and I have a 10.00 credit remaining against the account.?
