What phone and software?

Can you be specific about which apps are not getting notifications please?

Have you checked Settings >Notifications to see if you have notifications enabled for those apps?

Try WhatsApp first. Go to WhatsApp >Settings >Notifications.

Is "show notifications" on there too?

I can only assume it's a device issue then.

I would make a full backup to iTunes then reset the phone completely, deleting everything, then restore your backup. If still not working, make an appointment with Apple to check the phone.

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the apps then reboot the phone.
