Tell them what they want to hear, is pretty much the standard response from Live Chat when a flagship device is released

Just received a text from O2 regarding my S10 plus pre-order. "Sorry it's taking longer than we hoped to send your order. We're still expecting more stock soon, we'll text you again as soon as we have a delivery date". Well this doesn't really help the customers who pre-ordered, does it. I've just sold my S9+ and pre-ordered the S10 plus thinking I would get it on the 8th. Probably would have been easier going into an O2 shop than pre-ordering. When you ring O2 customer services up, they haven't got a clue either. I need my phone for my work and at the moment I've had to buy a ******ty Samsung B100 to tie me over. The word "Expecting" also means "Likely, Maybe, Perhaps", I give up.

Also love the Live Chat Guro, you'll ask a technical question, they'll go off and search online for the answer and come back with the wrong answer, amazing.

When any of us get our S10/S10+ pre-orders will, or should, depend on when you ordered it. Those who ordered on the 20th/21st February are likely to get theirs on the 8th March. After that it's a question of when you ordered it and where you are in the queue. The sooner you ordered it, the sooner you get it. Well that's how it should work in theory. In practice, who knows. And, of course, there is the question did O2 order enough stock of the 3 colours?
Now I've not received a text about my order so what does that mean - good news or bad? I'll just wait patiently (!?) for that despatch email, when I know my phone's on the way.

It's usually the way @mieinhull1969
They read from a script and it rarely answers the question asked. They would have absolutely NO idea how much stock O2 has. I doubt they have enough, they never do.
Last I heard it was the black and white causing the issues. Prism Green 'seemed' to be ok. Only time will tell
