O2 Travel Opt Out

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi everyone,

I just switched from pay monthly to payg, and I found in my Bolt Ons list something called "O2 Travel Opt Out". I assume this gives me a different tariff from normal when abroad. Where can I find details of the tariffs with and without this opt out?

Thanks

I'm with Vodafone and get a "Welcome to Spain" text on arrival but also every time the signal changes then returns to Voda they send me a "Welcome to Spain" text with details of their equivalent of O2 Travel.

It's high time O2 introduced decent world travel rates. I leave June 1st and without TU my contract would be useless and pointless. No way will I be renewing when my contract finishes in January.

@jonsie...Isn't it June next year when the roaming rates have to be banished completely?....IF we stay in the EU?

That's EU only - won't apply in Thailand....

Don't I know it!!

My point was that they should introduce decent rates outside of Europe rather than the £1.50/min to receive and make calls. Sorry that should read per part minute! Disgraceful in this day and age.
