MINGLE O2 SURVEY I took the trouble and time to respond to the O2 survey on the promise of inclusion in a prize draw. At the end of the survey I was told I was NOT eligible. This is sharp practice to say the least and I will be reporting this to Trading standards. I should also say I have no confidence in Mingle’s safeguarding of my data since I believe they lied to me. Any information, anyone?

The best thing to do is ignore or block all those kinds of texts or calls. I don't ever do surveys. There's enough of my info floating about out there already without giving some scam company even more. If they are fake, there's every chance that they also sell on your information elsewhere, which invites even more scams.

I totally agree, I stay well clear of surveys. Putting your data and personal details at risk with a 'chance' of being eligible for a reward is foolhardy and does anyone know someone who has been rewarded in a prize draw for taking part in a survey? Yes there are paid surveys and people make money but they involve too much box ticking.

I have participated in a few carefully selected surveys. All chosen by me and none offering payment or rewards for participation. I would never get involved in the ones that pop up randomly....

I hope the op didn't enter too much info, I'd also be checking the extra charges section of the next bill too.

Without seeing the email address of the sender I would actually think that looks legit....

I don't say I would participate but they have cleverly put the address at the bottom...

Edit: Looking at it again I would say it's spam. No official O2 logo and I have never known O2 offer a prize draw for any suggestion...

Unless it's obviously fake... I tend to closely examine the email address of sender.

Never been scammed yet....and as said.. I never participate in random surveys.
