Hi and welcome to the forum.

The procedure swap my sim usually takes no more than 24 hours ,but can occasionally be a little longer but that's rare.

Turning your phone off and back on throughout this period helps reset the network services.

If your services don't turn on then first check the apn settings in the phone.

If they are ok and give your sim a clean and it's seated in the sim tray ok then give 02 Customer Services a call just to make sure all is on with your account.

Take care.

Has the old simcard been disconnected? As stated the whole process should take much less time than the 24 hours they quote. My change to a 4G sim took 12 minutes using the Swap my sim process.

You really need to speak to customer service rather than the online chat.

You need to speak to cs http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

or complete a sim swap http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

You should also remove your number as this is a public forum.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous,

Im Toby, the community manager. Welcome!

I have edited your number out of your post as that is private information but this is a public forum, so it's safer not to include that info on posts :).

Cheers, Toby

The easiest way and quickest is to go I to your nearest o2 store and get them to do it. It's free and will probably be done within 10-15 minutes.
